Easy Static Grass, the final touches. After the glue has dried. It shouldn't be that long, as Zap cures quickly. I will go and paint the grass ends, just to give the grass a bit of character. These are some paints I use. Coat d'Arms putrid green or Citadel Rotting Flesh, Bleached bone. Or perhaps Citadel Goblin green. I use an old, flat brush to basicly use a dry brushing technique on the tops of the grass. Use a light touch, as the static grass is not very sturdy. Here is some examples of painted static grass. This is the base of the model I used for this tutorial. Here is a base of one of my wolfens I recently completed. If you don't like painting the grass, here is some alternatives. A lighter spring like static grass, mixed with railroad ballast, plain spring grass, or herbs and spices from the kitchen for a forest litter effect. (thanks to Jennifer Haley for that awesome tip.)
