Here is a list of places on the web that I would deal without hesitation.
The list is quite small right now, so please bear with me.

Ok, this isn't so much an online store, as its a brick and mortar store. This is what I
consider my local store where I go to for the bulk of my hobby stuff, and the
occasional game. They have several gaming tables, and many other activities.
They must have something going for them if I go there every week :-)

Irven's web store. THE best prices on vallejo's and winsor and newton brushes. Excellant service,
fantastic communication, and he takes paypal. Go here before you try anywhere else.
I mention Irven first, because he is located on the same side of the USA as I am. The East Coast.
So, stuff gets to me quicker than someone over on the west coast.

Steve Petrey's store on the web. Nothing but outstanding service, and up to date listings
of his current stock. As Ragin Cajun would say ' He kicks ass!' He has my Seal of Approval!
And if your located over on the west coast, then this is the place to shop.

"The Virtual Alchemist is a re-seller of rare and collectible miniatures and games,
specializing in the hard to find. If you collect miniatures for war games we can help"
Ok, that snippet was from his web site front page. This is James Humphries site.
He can find you that elusive miniature that you've been hunting for. I've meet him before
and he is an extremely nice chap, very easy to talk with, and did I mention, a customer
of mine? :-) Also, due to his generosity, he helps host "The Stuff of Legends" a site that has
a huge listing of any miniature out there. (with pictures!)

130 Main St -Greenfield, MA 01301

I think I should at least plug the stores in my area :-) I went to Jays store this afternoon (dec 1st, 01), and was happy to see several gaming tables with really nice terrain, a well stocked reaper rack, (they have CAV, first time I've seen them) and foundry miniatures. He also has some finely painted miniatures in his display cases, along with 2! golden demon statues from 1991. If your in the area, stop in and say hi to Jay, he's a very friendly person.
Whats this? a non-mini related company? These fine people make great little bottles to replace those lousy GW pots, or Reaper pots to transfer your paints into. We all know that any screw top paint pot will eventually have paint work itself into the threads, so their dropper bottles are a natural replacement. I have some of the 3/4 oz bottles and I think they are great! Please see this post by Netgyrl about what she got and how she transferred her paints.
