Brushes I use
These are the brushes I use most often. Winsor and Newton series 7
and Vallejo kolinski sables.

I wanted to use a photo that showed the brushes much larger than they actually are.
This shows the different body sizes of each brush. Even tho they are labeled the same
sizes (2 and 1) the points are slightly different and the body of each brush are different.
The Vallejo #2 has a fatter body, so it holds more paint, but the point isn't as precise
as the Winsor and Newton #2. But, looking at the #1's, the Vallejo has longer bristles,
and is thinner than the Winsor and Newton. But, the Winsor and Newton #1 has
a sharper point. I got my first Winsor and Newton series 7 (the #2) for christmas 2001,
and it shows no sign of wear. They might cost more, but if you take care of them
they will last much longer than cheaper, less expensive brushes.

Now, these brushes are what I use for fine detail and darklining work. The Vallejo 4/0 I
use 95% of the time for just painting eyes. I can fill in the eye socket and dot in the
pupils and irises. That brush has touched every last mini I've painted since I bought it.
The other brush I use to apply brown ink (usually) for darklining since its long, thin,
and can hold a decent amount of ink, or thinned paint.

These 2 brushes are what I use to apply paint, almost like drybrushing. I'll lightly drag
the tips of the brush over the surface I want to paint. Great for fur and hard angles.
