This model was fun to paint, especially since I used Angela Imrie's version as inspiration for it.
That took the head scratching out of the painting, since I basicly used her color scheme, with
only some slight modifications.
The model is based on a piece of cork, painted to look like a flat piece of rock, or masonry.
The rest of the flocking is the same stuff I use on most of my models.
It was primed black, since he has a fair amount of armor, and I find black primer is better
than trying to paint those areas black later.
The armor was painted with GW tin bitz, Boltgun metal and mithril silver.
The tunic was painted using Vallejo Brown Violet, lightened with Vallejo Dark Sand.
The skin was painted with Vallejo Beige Brown as a base color to work on over the black primer,
then painted with Vallejo Cork, then mixed in with Vallejo Dark Flesh, lightened further with Ivory.
The reds were painted with Vallejo Burnt Cadmium Red as a base, then Vallejo Red and lightened with
Vermillion.
The hair was painted with Vallejo Black Brown as a base to work from, Vallejo Beige Brown lightened
with Ivory.
The bone was painted with a base of Black Brown, Cork, Buff and Ivory as a highlight color.
Thats basicly it. Spent the night painting it, don't know actually how long, but the sun was up when
I started and when I finished, it was around 1 am.

Ok, enough babbling, heres the pictures!
